Performing Companies

Performing Companies
Our performing companies are offered at three levels of ability: Prep, Jr and Sr. The mission of our performing companies is to increase performing and technical ability, build self-esteem, learn how to be a part of a dance company, and serve our community. We do compete in dance competitions on occasion but that is not our focus. Our company members are still allowed to be involved in our activities, such as drill team, band or plays as long as they responsibly communicate their schedules and attend class and rehearsals regularly.

Performing company dress code:

Ballet: Black leotard, pink tight and pink split sole ballet shoes. Hair must be in bun. No bras (unless teacher approval) or panties may be worn under leotards. In pointe classes colored leotards may be worn. Pointe shoes must be in good working condition.

Jazz and tap: Regulation dance-wear (capris, bikers, & two-piece, leggings, OK). NO baggy clothing. Hair must be out of face and up off of neck. Jazz tap shoes. Split-sole (rubber on bottom) jazz shoes or paws.
